Story of "Stumari"

The name "Stumari" is derived from a phrase deeply rooted in Georgian culture, symbolizing our hospitality and warm welcome to guests. Georgian families have traditionally welcomed guests with grand receptions and the finest offerings. In keeping with this revered tradition, we proudly carry on the legacy of hospitality by crafting our exquisite Wine Tea with the highest care and respect.

Our story began in 2016 when the founder of our company returned to Georgia after completing a master's program in the USA and decided to establish the company. However, the journey to becoming a startup was far from easy, with the biggest challenge being the lack of technology for creating a product like "wine tea."

Additionally, there was no technological production line, which we had to create ourselves. To perfect the production process and enhance the product's properties, our production line underwent continuous testing, with up to 200 laboratory tests conducted to achieve the final result. These efforts allowed us to develop a unique formula, resulting in a product that possesses wine's taste and beneficial properties.

In a remarkably short time after its establishment, the company "Stumari" emerged victorious in the Startup Georgia competition as an innovative Georgian product. Additionally, in 2020, we achieved recognition at the London Food Fair, where our wine tea was named among the 10 most innovative products of the year. By 2021, our wine tea had undergone all necessary technological stages of production, with laboratory studies conducted and the final product presented.

The "Stumari" brand officially entered the market in 2021, offering wine tea to customers. We began building a sales network, placing our product in various branded hypermarkets and HORECA facilities.

Our dedicated team comprises visionary investors and young professionals who blend years of experience with a forward-thinking business approach. With expertise spanning various fields, such as business planning, management, marketing, finance, production, quality control, and sales, we synergize our skills to drive success.

Presently, "Stumari" and "Wine Tea" products are available in supermarket chains in Tbilisi, as well as in various tourist facilities and hotels, including Goodwill, Badagi, Europroduct, 8000 Vintages, Duty-Free, Georgian Basket, and others. In Georgian, "Stumari" translates to "guest." This phrase, "The guest is from God," embodies the centuries-old tradition of Georgian culture, hospitality, and respect for guests.

We chose to continue this tradition by developing a new product, wine tea, created with great care and respect for Georgian heritage.

Our goal is to offer customers a non-genetically modified, healthy, and unique product that serves as a symbol of our country worldwide through innovative production methods. Simultaneously, we aim to establish a distinguished Georgian brand for both local and export markets.
